Search on Alternative (anything), Complimentary (anything), or Natural (anything) and hundreds and hundreds of "hits" come up. Despite continual warnings and negative criticisms from organized medicine and government, people
have discovered for themselves that these approaches to health work!
Deciding which approaches are best can be difficult, but need not be the cause of such great concern as reflected in Amanda's face in the picture above! That's real terror you are looking at, and there is nothing in Alternative Therapy
to be so alarming.
The list of treatments presented here is not meant to be all-inclusive. I started with a much longer list that included all of the alternative therapies I have used successfully, then trimmed it down to those I felt were most effective,
and offered the best chance of being helpful to you. The idea is to keep it simple, so what is here is just simple stuff that gets the job done.
You will notice I have not included the use of vitamin and mineral supplements, though I wholeheartedly believe in them and use them extensively for my own personal health program. Supplementation is anything but simple, however, and
that is the reason it is not discussed at this site. Besides, there are many individuals better able to advise you than I on that subject. Seek them out as you wish.
Similarly, I would not expect everyone reading this to become expert in even this shortened list of alternatives. I know people who have studied Traditional Chinese Medicine all of their lives, for example, and feel they have yet to
master it. Same thing goes for Ayurvedic Medicine.
My goal here is to make you aware of what is available, with the hope that once informed, these Alternative Therapy Techniques are things you will be able to consider where appropriate.
