A number of years ago, a physician friend of mine whom I respect most in the health professions, introduced me to an interesting concoctions of vitamins and minerals that proved to be one of the greatest "fixes"
I have ever experienced.
Dr. Alan Gaby, a past-president of the American Holistic Medical Association, practiced just outside Baltimore, Maryland. He told of a colleague of his, John Myers, M.D., who had developed an intravenous
infusion of nutrients to treat his patients. Lots of doctors use this "cocktail", though most are reluctant to say so publicly after the Texas State Board stripped a physician of his license to practice, following the death
of a patient to whom he had given the cocktail.
There are a number of references in the literature to the Myer's Cocktail being useful in a variety of conditions, including fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue cases, but I, personally, have found it to be a marvelous stop-gap treatment to boost my Immune
System capabilities after a period of long stress and over-fatigue have left me vulnerable to illness. For me, and others, it also serves almost like a "magic elixir of power", giving a great boost to energy and ability to concentrate.
You cannot do this for yourself unless you have been medically trained and have a source for the ingredients. But if you have a physician in your area who is known to be holistic, ask about the possibility of receiving such treatment. Under proper
supervision and administration, risks of side effects are much less than those of many drugs commonly advertised on television.
And No, you don't have to be a mad scientist to appreciate how it will help you feel better.
