I have always sought solutions that were primarily "least expensive, least invasive, most effective". Unfortunately, this runs against much of the medical care offered to Americans, especially where the major pharmaceutical companies are constantly inventing new conditions for which they just happen to have a new pill for you to try.
We live in a time when stress is a major contributor to poor health. I have recently been informed about a system which can cost you little or nothing, is not difficult to learn, and may help many of us to rid ourselves of the negative effects of living with too much stress. |
The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
|
This has been reported effective for phobias, depression, fear, panic, negative thoughts, stress, tension, anxiety, nervousness, insomnia, and grief, and is certainly something to consider in place of the current spate of anti-depressants advertised on TV. If you are troubled by any of these conditions, perhaps you should consider the possibility that EFT will
be helpful.
|
You can Google on EFT and be offered a number of sites, including an 18 minute clip on You Tube that will give you a great introduction to the entire program. |
In the EFT procedure, you use the fingers of one hand to tap at acupuncture and pressure points at specific points on the other hand and other points on your face and body.
It is not difficult to learn the basics. You will find it takes less time to read up on the EFT Technique than is does to read about the side effects of Cymbalta or any of the other drugs and anti-depressants you may be taking.
The You Tube clip is so straightforward and simple that you tend to be dismissive of the whole concept, yet the potential for success is too great for you to ignore the possibilities.

A Word of Warning |
Like so much else, abuse of a good thing can end in bad results.
I have advised people with no real experience not to try frequency medicine or Rife-type frequency devices to treat complex, chronic conditions or cancer in themselves or loved ones. Such issues require the help of experienced practitioners, and you can get into trouble, even create adverse reactions. Not knowing what to do can result in making the situation worse than if you
had never intervened in the first place.
Similarly, I advise you not to use EFT techniques on your own
to treat yourself for bi-polar conditions or deep-seated emotional problems. Like other complex conditions, these also require the assistance of someone well trained in the technique. |
Remember the Oath of Hippocrates and "Do No Harm". Please do not overestimate your abilities to treat, or minimize the possibility of causing bad results. |
